This hand painted canvas, W.T.F, is from the ongoing Umwelt Collection and features a Great Horned Owl. The Umwelt collection debuted at Redefine Gallery in Orlando, FL in September of 2022 and continues today.
The Umwelt series is a foray into neo-impressionistic versions of owls juxtaposed against vibrant color splash backgrounds. While each work is true to form, it’s not quite realism, as the expressive brush strokes and intense layers of color are the true intention of these works.
The W.T.F. is a museum quality 8 x 8 x 1-1/2” canvas, painted with AlphaKrylik paints from Alpha 6 Paint Corp. and finished with double UV clear coats for protection. Each canvas is signed on the backside by Nite Owl.
