This hand painted canvas, Cazador, is from the ongoing Umwelt Collection. The Umwelt collection debuted at Redefine Gallery in Orlando, FL in September of 2022.
The Umwelts series is a foray into neo-impressionistic versions of owls juxtaposed against messy color splash backgrounds. While each work is true to form, it’s not quite realism, as the expressive brush strokes and intense layers of color are the true intention of these works.
Cazador is a museum quality 12 x 12 x 1-1/2” canvas, painted with AlphaKrylik paints from Alpha 6 Paint Corp. and finished with double UV clear coats for protection. Each canvas is signed on the backside by Nite Owl.
