Wood Burnt

There’s nothing better than the smell of burnt wood, reminds me of campfires. This owl has been burnt into a wood round by hand, then accentuated with wood stain. This technique is challenging, but rewarding. There is no room for error. Once you burn a line, it’s there. No erasing.
