Slapstravaganza 2026
baaah bum bum bum bump! I love a good Sticker Show. And in Tokyo?? Hop on a flight, queue up some Gojira movies and sip a little whiskey . . . How I wish I could be there for this one. My friends at Bridge Mogura Gallery are throwing the first sticker show of the year and they’re doing it right. Slapstravaganza is a 2 day event to celebrate the sticker community of Tokyo. With over 60+ sticker slappers and artists contributing original art, zines and sticker packs to the show this should be an eclectic mix of works and something for everybody! There will be sticker walls, sticker exchanges and DJ’s to keep the vibes going through the day and night. I heard that my friend VLOT will be doing a set during the night. Pretty cool. Now i really wish i could be there. Knowing that most of my readers won’t be at the show in Tokyo, I held back a few label 228 sticker packs to add to the website.
Speaking of VLOT, this Slapstravaganza show is also doubling as the release party for VLOT’s edition of Slap Stars Trading Cards. This set is pretty hot, featuring some of his freshest art collabs as trading cards. There are 25 cards in the set and all the participating artists were sent a small stack of cards to sign to be reinserted randomly into the packs. And each artist also created a special 1/1 card for the set. Happy hunting!! Check the Bridge Mogura Website on monday to see if there are any available. If not, hit ebay. lol.
Is it too early to declare this the Sticker Show of 2026? I think not.
